Churches are born in the heart and mind of God. We who are blessed to live in East Tennessee, are doubly blessed. We are blessed with a rich heritage and we are blessed to live in the beauty of East Tennessee.
For one hundred and fifty two years the Pleasant View Baptist Church has ministered faithfully where God planted her. Situated by grace and geography in the haven of the five rivers, as well as, being two miles from West Andrew Johnson Highway.
Today the Church maintains its heritage of a strong and friendly fellowship, and a heart for those who live around her.
- We believe that the Word of God is the strength of the Church.
- We believe that ministry is the genuine expression of the Love of God through it's worship, to bring people to Christ through His Word, and to grow people up in grace and knowledge to be Christian in every expression of their lives.
